    Stopped in on a Monday at about 10am and the place was still rocking with breakfast patrons. The menu is expansive and offers something for everyone. Service was prompt and friendly, coffee refilled frequently with the food coming hot and fast. It was only breakfast, but it was breakfast done RIGHT! We won't hesitate to stop again!

    Visited the Big Apple yesterday morning. Ordered 2 egg special that comes with meat, hash brown OR grits, toast OR pancakes. I ordered both grits n hash browns. I was aware it was an charge. Got my food- notice hair in my eggs & the potatoes taste sour (not sure if potatoes bad or the onions). I got the attention a worker who I later found out was the owner (john). I told him of my issue. He took food without an apology. When I get my bill they still charged me extra for grits when I returned the potatoes. John says the bowl of grits was bigger and the was nothing he could do. He refused to credit the extra cost. He had no regard for my dissatisfaction as evident of him staying on the phone while dealing with me & calling someone else over to ring us out. I will NEVER patronize this establishment and everyone I know will be told not to!

    The service is good. The food is hot and fresh. Your order comes out quickly. The portions are large. The price is reasonable. This American Diner is open for Breakfast and Lunch. The food is delicious you will not leave here hungry.

    I wish there was an option to leave half a star. I don't even understand how this place is still open. The food is less than basic. There's no seasoning used whatsoever. Their eggs aren't fresh they taste weird. I could go on and on, but I won't for the sake of time. The Egg & I is soooo much better! Today was my last time ever patronizing that establishment. I think people just go there out of force of habit.

    This is definitely a go to spot. Food and service is usually consistently good. I recommend them highly.
